The Veteran Golfers Association (VGA) has announced the upcoming Armed Forces Cup, a tournament where players will represent branches of the military. Former football coach Urban Meyer will participate in the event along with VGA members Joe Caley and Josh Peyton.

"I'm honored to be a part of the Armed Forces Cup," Meyer said. "It's a great opportunity to support our veterans and military families, and I'm looking forward to playing some golf with some great people."
Meyer will be joined by VGA members Joe Caley and Josh Peyton, who are both veterans of the U.S. Army. Caley served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, while Peyton was a combat medic with the 101st Airborne Division.

Caley, who is now the VGA's director of operations, said that the Armed Forces Cup is a special event for the organization.

Peyton, who is now a PGA professional, echoed Caley's sentiments.

The Armed Forces Cup is expected to draw a large field of players from all over the country. The tournament will be played on the PGA National Resort & Spa's Champion Course, which has hosted numerous PGA Tour events.
The proceeds from the tournament will benefit the VGA's programs and services, which provide support to veterans and military families through golf.
In addition to the tournament, the VGA will also be hosting a number of other events during the week of the Armed Forces Cup, including a golf clinic for veterans, a concert, and a gala dinner.
