A police chase in Wisconsin took a dramatic turn when the suspect, driving a limousine, fled from officers and crashed into a ditch before attempting to escape on foot.
According to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, the incident began on September 16th at approximately 4 p.m. when an officer observed a limousine traveling well below the posted speed limit. Upon initiating a traffic stop for a registration violation, the driver, identified as Bradley R. Semirich, 37, of Portage, Wisconsin, sped off, prompting a pursuit.

Dashcam footage captured the heart-stopping chase as Semirich recklessly attempted to pass other southbound traffic on the shoulder before losing control and crashing into a ditch. The limo was even seen passing a school bus with its lights flashing, raising concerns about potential danger to children.
After the crash, Semirich emerged from the vehicle and vanished several blocks away into a nearby wooded area, prompting a foot pursuit by officers. A search dog was deployed to track the suspect, and officers closed in on his location.

Semirich was transported to a local hospital for evaluation before being transferred to the Kenosha County Jail. Investigations revealed that he had multiple outstanding warrants and was a convicted felon.
"The Pleasant Prairie Police would like to thank our partners, the Winthrop Harbor Police Department, who assisted our officers with taking the suspect into custody. This is an example of the outstanding work and dedication our officers perform daily while serving our communities," the department stated in a Facebook post.
Semirich remains in custody on a $25,000 cash bond, awaiting further legal proceedings for his actions.
