The Colorado Buffaloes, under the watchful eye of head coach Deion Sanders, commenced their second season under his leadership with a decisive 31-26 victory over North Dakota State on Thursday. It marked their inaugural game as members of the Big 12 conference.
The game commenced with two quick strikes from Colorado, courtesy of 41-yard and 70-yard touchdowns by Travis Hunter and Sheduer Sanders, respectively. However, the Bison demonstrated resilience, taking a 20-17 lead by halftime, exposing Colorado's defensive shortcomings.

Meanwhile, the dynamic duo of Sanders and Hunter further solidified their exceptional connection, with a stunning touchdown catch by Hunter extending Colorado's lead to 31-20 in the fourth quarter.
